Thursday’s Music: From Jazz Bands to Twin Town Rockers

This Thursday’s Uptown Farmers Market brings together seasoned jazz players, fresh young talent, and a classic trio to soundtrack your evening.

🎶 On the Busker Stage (4:30–6:30 PM), enjoy Big Sunflower 2, a quartet of North Star Jazz Workshop musicians playing straight-ahead jazz standards with trumpet, piano, bass, and drums.

🎶 On the North Stage, start with The Cellar Dwellers (5–5:45 PM), a Twin Town Guitar student group of 9–11 year-olds rocking out to ‘90s favorites from Nirvana, Green Day, Weezer, and more. Then close the night with the Michael Gold Jazz Trio (6–8 PM), featuring bassist Michael Gold alongside drummer Nathan Norman and saxophonist Brad Holden — three Twin Cities jazz veterans bringing a rich mix of improvisation, swing, and deep musical camaraderie.

📍 Thursdays, 4–8 PM | Lake & Girard
