#ThursdaysAreForUptown is an open invitation to plan a night on the town in Uptown when you shop the farmers market weekly.
Featuring artwork by world-renowned illustrator Eric Hanson.
The idea is simple.
On your weekly visit to the Uptown Farmers Market, plan your route and stop in and visit another business or venue nearby. Invite a friend and make it an occasion.
Go for a ride at CycleBar. Grab a bite at the market and catch a movie at the Lagoon. Or cross the street and rock the open mic at the Green Room. Unwind at the lo-fi craft night at Moona Moono or laugh until your sides hurt at one of the comedy showcases.
All on a Thursday night in Uptown.

About the Artist:
Eric Hanson is an illustrator and writer based in the Twin Cities, with work published in Vanity Fair, The New Yorker, Harper's, and more. His clients include top design agencies, universities, and consumer brands worldwide, and he was Artist in Residence at the Minneapolis Institute of Art in 2014. Original Eric Hanson art is available through the artist.
