Make a night of it in Uptown!
Uptown art by Doug Pedersen
The produce is bountiful at the Uptown Farmers Market! This week's harvest includes sweet corn, tomatoes, strawberries and lots of greens! Check out the Fresh Eats section below to see what's in season and support the local farmers and makers who bring the freshest, most flavorful foods straight from their fields to our market.
See you Thursday at MoZaic Plaza – Lagoon & Girard, right next to the Lagoon Cinema! We'll be there from 4 to 8 p.m.
Have a night out at the Uptown Farmers Market!
Grab dinner, stock up on fresh produce for the weekend and catch up with neighbors while you shop. Whether you're coming for farm-fresh veggies, sweet berries, baked goods, handcrafted gifts or live music, the Uptown Farmers Market is the place to be.
Bring the kids, meet a friend or come solo—you'll almost certainly bump into someone you know. On market days, the MoZaic parking ramp off Lagoon offers a $7 flat-rate for the evening – giving you plenty of time to shop the market, enjoy the live music, grab dinner and explore all that Uptown has to offer!
Meet Amy Sanborn, Uptown Farmers Market Volunteer Extraordinaire!!
If you've been to the market, chances are you've met Amy. She's there most every Thursday—welcoming visitors at the information table and chatting with shoppers. Behind the scenes she works tirelessly to keep everything running smoothly.
Amy calls herself a "serial volunteer," and we'd have to agree! She's lived in the Uptown neighborhood for 19 years and has generously volunteered with her children's schools, the East Isles Neighborhood Association and countless community events. We've been lucky to have Amy on the UFM team since the market was just an idea.
When you see Amy at the market, be sure to say hello—and thank her for helping bring Good Vibes to the Uptown Farmers Market!
