Bike to Beets! Thursday is Bike, Walk, Bus to Market Day.
Bike to Beets & Beats!
What is better than biking to the Uptown Farmers Market for freshly picked produce and live music? It's good for you and good for the planet. Join us for BWB2UFM every third Thursday and leave the car behind!
Give the bus a try! It's easy and, this week, it's free for market goers, courtesy of our partnership with MetroTransit.
Access your free pass by answering three easy questions. Then, use the Metro Transit Trip Planner and enter Lagoon Cinema as your destination for the best route from your location.
Thursday, 4–8 p.m. at MoZaic Plaza (Lagoon & Girard), right next to Lagoon Cinema.
Easy parking: The MoZaic parking ramp off Lagoon offers a $7 flat rate on market nights, so you can shop, dine and explore Uptown at your own pace.
Taking the bus? Use the Metro Transit Trip Planner and enter Lagoon Cinema as your destination for the best route.

Shop, stroll and relax to a solo set by Americana electric guitarist/singer-songwriter, Colin Roy Monette (above right) at 4:30 p.m. Then settle in for the groove-driven flow of neo-classic jazz standards and inventive originals by Michael Gold Trio (above left, L to R: Nathan Norman on Drums, Brad Holden on Alto Sax and Michael Gold on Bass) at 6:00 p.m.
Grab dinner, enjoy the music and make a night of it!
Thanks to our neighbor, Lagoon Cinema!
The Landmark Lagoon Cinema is helping to spread the word about the Uptown Farmers Market by showcasing the market on its marquee and featuring our posters prominently on its Now Playing displays. Their support helps bring even more visibility and energy to the market!
Thanks Lagoon!
Meet the Music Man, Luca Gunther
A longtime Uptown resident, Luca is one of the friendly faces who helps make our weekly market come alive. As our volunteer music curator, roadie, and sound man, he works behind the scenes to bring an amazing variety of live music each week.
Luca’s favorite thing about the market? It’s a “family and dog-friendly environment” where everyone is welcome to come, relax, and enjoy the community.
Fun fact: Luca always carries dog treats, so our four-legged market visitors get a little extra love, too!
Next time you’re at the market, be sure to say hello to Luca and thank him for bringing Live Beats to the market —and stick around for the music!
